Simple and completely impregnated indicator papers. They only indicates if the pH of a solution is above or below the point of colour change. The blue litmus paper has pH range 8.0-5.0 and the colour change from blue to red. The red litmus paper had pH range of 5.0-8.0 and the colour changes from red to blue.
