These Cork Borers have brass handles which are swedged and soldered onto the special hard brass cutting tube.  The handles will not come off.

The special grade of hard brass used in the tubes of these borers enables them to retain their sharp cutting edges.  The tubes have heavy walls and therefore retain their concentric shape.  A ramrod is supplied with each set.
