Spirit Lamp is like on ordinary Lamp but this lamp use ethanol i.e ethyl alcohol as a fuel. This lamp is used mostly in laboratories and mainly inside laminar air flow chamber which is a sterile cabin, whose most of the biotech and microbiology particals are hold. Ethanol is used as a fuel instead of other commercial fuel because this will easily evaporate and will not produce smoke and hence we can provide contaminations.
