A Bunsen burner is piece of lab equipment that is used to heat material for experiments. It is a burner which operates on gas. The flame of a Bunsen Burner can be adjusted by managing the inflow, outflow and mixing of gas and air. A Bunsen Burner is named after the inventor Robert Bunsen, a scientist working for the University of Heidelberg, in 1855.
The gas used for Bunsen Burners are either methane or LPG such as butane and propane. The Bunsen Burner is constructed in such a way that a stable flow of the gas being used is maintained. Usually the brass metal tube. This metal tube is fixed onto a broad base. There is an inlet for the gas flow on this broad base. This also has an adjustable valve to regulate the inflow of air and hence the flame.
All our Bunsen Burners are provided with LP Gas nipple only & individually packed in a corrugated box.
